Easter 2014

This was a fun Easter, Tristan  was definitely old enough to enjoy it.  We started off the festivities with our  neighborhood egg hunt which was less of a hunt and more of a grab as many eggs laying out as fas t as you can.  Tristan was so funny when they released the children he took off running passing about 10 eggs to get to this one particular one he had his eyes on. Once he realized there was candy involved he quickly got into the spirit of things and grabbed as many as he could.

Now onto the 2nd Easter egg hunt of the day with the Egans.  Grandkid pic just as all grandkids pictures turn out

After the egg hunt and bbq we decided to hurry over to the tulip festival at the gardens before it closed, the kids are pretty tired by this point.
EASTER MORNING!!!   Tristan follows the Easter bunny tracks
and finds his Easter basket in the pantry.
 Checking out their goodies
I think he's pleased, the highlights were the chocolate easter bunny and dinosaur
What's this Easter thing you people talk of, I guess its alright says Ivory
Oh my goodness this little girl is cute!!  And ps I love having a girl to dress up!

Me and the kiddos

We finished the day out with a most yummy afternoon dinner with Ryan's family and then desserts at our house with the Perkins and Bells.

Oh I also made this delightful # for breakfast... it is French toast so technically eating the leftovers don't count as a dessert for the health challenge, right family???IMG_5760-e1327893380775.jpg

Yeah that one of Ivory smiling is especially adorable. Looks like fun! I'm glad you kept up the trail tradition too. I was rather shocked that neither of our kids cared about their chocolate bunny. Seriously? Did they not understand it was made of chocolate?

that is nice that the neighborhood had an egg "hunt". All the pictures are so cute.
