Holidays

The last two months have been a blur of trying to figure out this taking care of two kids thing, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

2 kids thing-  Tristan Loves his baby sister, sometimes a bit too much:)  He is always wanting to touch her and hold her which is cute except the words, be gentle, mean nothing to him and there was a few times when him waking her up from her nap for the 3rd time in one day made me want to cry and/or scream.  As the two month mark rolls around I am feeling good and getting more used to balancing both kids at home.

Thanksgiving-  We decided to go to St. George the first half of the break to spend Thanksgiving day with Ryan's whole immediate family which was there and then came back the day after Thanksgiving to hang out with my siblings that were in town.

Bath time with cousins in St George

So nice we could go to the park and play outside in the leaves.

Christmas Festivities-

I say this every year, but this time I really mean it, I am going to get my Christmas shopping done early.  I love Christmas with kids, it is so fun, and this year especially, Tristan just Loved it.  He was so excited for all his Christmas presents.

The part I don't like is rushing around trying to buy presents, not that I don't like giving gifts but it adds stress and instead of spending spare time at the store I'd like to spend it doing more fun things or just being at home and... sleeping.

Going to see Santa! Tristan hadn't said yes to any question asked of him for a long time, we're talking at least a month, probably longer until we asked him if he wanted to go see Santa.

Tristan loved the huge Christmas tree at the outlets store

Ice sculptures at Thanksgiving Point
2nd Annual seeing the Christmas lights at Thanksgiving Point.  Last year we rode the trolley this year all the seats were sold out on the trolley so we rode on the trailer which was just as fun, but colder.
Christmas morning!  This was the first thing Tristan saw when he came down stairs and it was the cutest thing, he got inside, (the video is 10 min long or else I would post it) but he got inside and looked up at us and said TankYou, in his cute little voice:  Train tent $20, Thank you: Priceless

Ivory looks so cute and girlie. And I love the thank you story. And speaking as one who accidentally did all her Christmas shopping early this year: it is so, so worth it.

I love Christmas shopping early! Do it! Although, I didn't actually do it early this year... Ivory is adorable, and I love her little santa outfit. Tristan is adorable too, so fun, to hear about them.
