Painting Fiasco

So, I've been wanting to paint an accent wall in our master bath for a while now, (ever since I was dying my hair and accidentaly splattered it on the wall above the toilet). So we made a pre-visit to Home Depot to check out the options. I wanted to do that Ralph Lauren textured paint same as Annaliese did for our downstairs bathroom but they didn't have any samples to take home. All our previous painting adventures took me at least 5 agonizing trips to look at paint but I was determined to be more decisive this time but still lets not get too crazy I couldn't do it on the first try. Saturday we went back debated between three shades ( at first I was thinking of doing a teal color but couldn't get up the nerve) so then what I wanted to do is a sand color since we have a little beach theme going. We looked at a couple of darker colors and then decided to play it safe, this is what no risks get you=EXACT same color as our current walls. We look at our walls everyday how could we not know it was the same color? And I hate wasting, we just threw $30 down the drain, I can't stand it. If you take it back can they add more color? I would gladly give it to some one to avoid this terrible waste but who needs beige paint or should I say desert taupe? -they throw you off with those creative names

I actually like the teal idea too. But yes, they will add more color for you. I've done it.

I thought you went to a hair dresser to do your hair color. How often do you have to do it?

Teal would be so great. Go crazy! And at least it was only 30 bucks. What if you'd paid someone to paint for you?
